The current focus on energy conservation, environmental protection, and eco-friendliness has captured the attention of everyone. Among the various industries that are looking for greener solutions, the stage lighting industry has found solace in the energy-saving and eco-friendly LEDs. These lights have become the go-to solution for stage lighting needs.
LED stage lighting is becoming increasingly popular as the industry continues to progress. This shift from traditional stage lighting to LED alternatives is worth noting. However, there are certain considerations to keep in mind when using LED stage lighting.
To prevent damage to LED stage lighting products, it is imperative to implement anti-static measures during processing and production. It is highly recommended to ground the workbench and have workers utilize anti-static rings, gloves, and clothing if possible. Another effective method is to install an anti-static ion fan and maintain a humidity level of around 65% in the production workshop to minimize the generation of static electricity. Additionally, it is worth noting that LED lamp beads of varying quality grades can have different degrees of anti-static ability, with higher quality and grade LED lamp beads typically having stronger anti-static properties. Proactively taking these measures can help ensure the longevity and reliability of LED stage lighting products.
To reduce product costs, some manufacturers opt for the "resistance-capacity step-down" method to supply power to LED stage lighting products. However, this approach directly impacts the lifespan of the LED stage lighting products. To avoid such detrimental effects on product life, it is essential to utilize a dedicated switching power supply, preferably a constant current source, to power LED products. Although this option may come with a relatively higher cost, it ensures the longevity and performance of the LED stage lighting products.
An increase in temperature can have an effect on the internal resistance of an LED. If an external ambient temperature increase occurs, the internal resistance of the LED light source will decrease. This can cause the LED to become damaged if a regulated power supply is used, with the operating current increasing. To avoid damage, it is recommended to use a constant current source to power the LED. This will ensure that the working current of the LED is not affected by changes in external temperature, and prevent the LED from burning out. It is an important consideration in stage lighting equipment.
The sealing of LED products is a crucial aspect, especially when they are used outdoors. One of the common challenges faced is the need for effective waterproof and moisture-proof sealing. Neglecting this issue can directly impact the durability and lifespan of LED products. Some manufacturers with strict quality standards opt for the traditional method of sealing LED products by pouring epoxy resin. However, this method can be quite cumbersome to implement and may not be suitable for larger LED products like guardrail lights. Additionally, it can also add unnecessary weight to the product. Therefore, alternative approaches are required to address these concerns and ensure optimal performance of LED stage lights in various outdoor settings.
